During the last years of her life Margarita I. Kuss wrote a symphonic poem entitled "Potayonny Krai"
("The Cryptic Area"). Association unintentionally arise which relate to her life and the people who were
dear to her. As she said: "Every person in his/her heart has their own "cryptic area". Her relations with
D.D.Shostakovich confirm the above. They were connected by a long-term friendship and deep mutual feelings.
