A letter from L.T. Atovmyan, a friend of D.D. Shostakovich, S.S. Prokofiev and M.I. Kuss. Darling Margarita! I sincerely congratulate you on behalf of the Armenian proletariat with your Birthday and send you the best and cordial wishes. I am very much upset because of my illness I cannot participate in celebrations as I would not have any objection to kiss you, wish many happy returns of the birthday and drink a wine-glass of fruit-liqueur for splendid longevity of our beloved person. I embrace and kiss you: signature /L.Atovmyan/ October 13,1965

A letter to the deputy chief editor L.S. Genina of “Sovetskaya Muzyka” magazine. Dear Liana Solomonovna!
Unfortunately I do not consider it to be possible to put my signature beneath the version of obituary notice about Revol’ Samuilovich Bunin, which was sent to me, as from my opinion what I received for signing is exactly an example of coldness and conventionalism what the editors themselves asked me to avoid.
Yours sincerely,
M. Kuss
